This policy explains how Chris Mead Tattoos handles information through its tattoo consultation scheduler.
Information collected and used
When you book a consultation, we collect your name, email address, phone number, preferred appointment time, tattoo description, placement, approximate measurements, and any reference images you provide. If text notifications are offered, we also record your consent choice.
We use this information to schedule and manage consultations, prepare for your visit, communicate about your appointment, and send confirmations and reminders. Connection information, including your IP address, is used to limit automated abuse.
Google Calendar
The scheduler connects to a Google account authorized by Chris Mead Tattoos. Clients do not need to connect their own Google accounts.
The scheduler checks availability on selected calendars. During rescheduling, it reads calendar events to distinguish the consultation being moved from other busy events. Other calendar events are not displayed to booking clients.
Consultation events sent to Google contain the client’s name, appointment time, studio location, and booking identifier. Reference images, contact details, tattoo descriptions, and measurements are not included in those events.
Google Calendar data is used for scheduling and managing consultations. It is not sold or used for advertising or AI model training. The account owner can revoke the scheduler’s access through their Google Account permissions.
Storage and service providers
Contact and tattoo details, reference images, and stored Google authorization tokens are encrypted in the WordPress database. Access to consultation records and images requires an authorized administrator account.
Hosting and email services process information needed to operate the scheduler and deliver messages. Consultation details may appear in private notification emails sent to Chris and designated staff.
If enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile processes verification information and your IP address for spam protection.
Text-message privacy
Text notifications are optional. If text notifications are enabled and you consent, Twilio and participating mobile carriers process your phone number and consultation messages only as needed to deliver confirmations, reminders, rescheduling notices, and cancellation notices.
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-message opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties, except service providers that are necessary to deliver the messages you requested. We do not sell mobile information or use it for unrelated advertising.
Message frequency varies. Most consultations receive a confirmation and reminder, plus another notice whenever the consultation is rescheduled or cancelled. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help. Opting out of texts does not cancel your consultation and does not prevent email notifications.

Retention and requests
Consultation records and reference images remain stored until manually deleted. Cancelling an appointment removes its linked Google Calendar event but does not automatically erase its intake record or images.
You may contact us to request a copy, correction, or deletion of your consultation information. We may need to verify your identity. Email copies, backups, and service-provider records may have separate retention periods.
