Deposit for tattoo (under 3 hours) – $80
Deposit for tattoo (over 3 hours or larger surface area) – $150-$300
Hourly Rate – $200/hr
Deposits are required for all booked appointments.
If your tattoo will be over 3 hours, a larger deposit is required and will come off the total cost of your tattoo the day of your appointment. If it is a multiple session piece, it will be taken off at the completion of your piece.
Deposits are non-refundable.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please do so a minimum of 24 hours in advance or your deposit will be forfeit.
If you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol, please come back when you are not.
Any drawings that I have done that I’ve been canceled or no-showed on, automatically go into the “available for a special rate” file and will be available to be tattooed. *Restrictions apply. Please discuss with Chris Mead.
CONSULTATION POLICY
Consultations are limited to 30 minutes to discuss your design ideas for small to medium sized designs. Larger projects, including sleeves, full back pieces, etc. may require additional time to work out more complicated elements and details.
An additional deposit may be required for tattoos taking over 3 hours or those that cover a larger surface area.
Consultations are free but will require a deposit to set an appointment before any artwork is created.
Deposits will come off the final price of the tattoo.
RESCHEDULING AND CANCELLATION
If you need to reschedule your tattoo appointment, please do so within 24 hours of your scheduled time, or your deposit will be FORFEIT.
If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment, your deposit will be FORFEIT.
Deposits will only be valid for 90 days. There are exceptions to this rule, so please discuss with Chris Mead during your consultation.
If you reschedule more than 3 times within 90 days, you will FORFEIT your deposit.
I am flexible with the deposits as long as you contact me ahead of time and communicate clearly.
If you are sick or ill, please let me know as soon as possible. Your pain tolerance is practically zero when your body is fighting an illness or infection. Any sessions rescheduled due to illness will NOT forfeit their deposits.
Don’t be a dick and I won’t be one back.
TATTOO DESIGN
All tattoo designs will be approved before ink goes to skin.
If there are any mistakes in spelling and/or dates, you will have an opportunity to verify and change them before the tattoo is applied. Any changes made after the tattoo is completed will be done at your expense.
Tattoo designs will NOT be sent before your appointment. You will have time to make any changes.
PREPERATION
Please arrive to your session clean, fed and well rested. You will have a much more positive experience.
If you have a substantial amount of body hair in the area you would like to be tattooed, please consider shaving the area before your arrive. It will save a substantial amount of time.
Moisturizing your skin with an unscented lotion in the days before your session will help your skin remain elastic and help with the tattooing process. This is particularly useful around areas of skin that are dry. This typically includes the elbows, knees, hands and feet.
DAY OF TATTOO
Please bring your photo ID and appropriate form of payment.
If there is any damage to the skin (sunburn, dermatitis, etc) or any type of injury in the area to be tattooed, your appointment may need to be rescheduled.
Tips to make your day more enjoyable
Wear comfortable and loose fitting clothing in a dark color. The studio will not be responsible for any stains from ink, stencils or cleansers.
Bring an extra blanket or warm clothing if you get cold easily.
Bringing small snacks or drinks is encouraged, but please do not bring a full meal with you into the studio.
Eating something substantial an hour or so before your tattoo appointment will help you to sit better during your session and keep your energy levels high.
Bringing headphones or ear-buds is encouraged if you would like to listen to your own music.
***If you plan on using a topical anesthetic before your session, please notify your artist. There are specific steps that need to be followed for it to work properly.***
TOUCH-UPS
Tattoo touch-ups will be done after examining the piece and at Chris Mead’s discretion.
If it has been determined that the proper after-care procedures were not followed, an additional fee may be applied to the session at the normal hourly rate. Please follow proper AFTER-CARE procedures. If you have any questions, please contact the studio as soon as possible.
There will be NO FREE TOUCH-UPS for tattoos on the fingers, hands, feet.
Any touch-ups can be done during a session for another tattoo for a nominal cost.
